I have mixed feelings about this episode. I find the characters of Robert and Annie rather unbelievable, but what makes it for me is the extra detail provided about the flying saucer, including some close-ups not seen in any other episodes, and the excel

Anne Francis starred in Forbidden Planet, where she was "just trying to get some healthy stimulation from kissing", (and not much else). Her child-like gold-digging character is just as one-dimensional in this episode, and she probably deserves engineer Robert Morrison, a man who is clearly a junior engineer, with just enough status in his company to have access to blueprints of that import, without actually understanding them. It doesn't help that the character of Commodore Stocker, which Drake played in the Star Trek episode "The Deadly Years", is an equally honest dullard. One can imagine Annie actually prefering an ingenious thief.
