Episode 17 : "The Condemned"

Review
This obviously was a difficult story for the director to make coherent sense. The first problem is how to cope with the confusion of how Vincent struggles with an alien security guard, which is claimed to be Tate (Bellamy) by the aliens, who then turns up alive to help Vincent. First of all Vincent said nothing to the police about trying to help Tate. Then eventually Tate shows up claiming Vincent tried to prevent him from falling.
The aliens are shown as a bit too bumbling in their attempts to acquire the file of names - so important to the story.
Yet for all the flaws - of which there are many more - this episode is carried well by Bellamy and Thinnes.

Watch near the ending where Dunn (Hamilton) is accidentally killed by his own lieutentant; burns away in red (as they do) - then spot Vincent on the stairway as he fades away too!!Review by Richard Savill, submitted 2004-11-11
