On Watching Beachhead again for the first time in a long time i wondered if i would find it as exciting as the first time i saw it back in the seventies, I was NOT disappointed i could not leave my seat until it had finished, the music is brilliant, very scary sounding, even by todays standards, Roy Thinnes plays his part as David Vincent very well trying to make people believe that aliens have landed (i mean WHO WOULD believe you) the Hydroelectic Plant scenes are great with the regeneration tubes, as are those bent little fingers on the EARLY aliens. The whole episode has a feeling of, I must see more of this, it really is excellent entertainment. I have just purchased The Invaders box set of 7 episodes (VHS)from www.moviesunlimited.com for $47.49 + $9.50 Shipping. Works out at £32.00 to the UK. WHEN WILL THIS EVER BE AVAILABLE ON DIGITALLY REMASTERED DVD FROM THE PRODUCERS OF THE SERIES? JUST WHAT IS STOPPING THEM RELEASING IT. ARE THEY HOARDING IT OR SOMETHING.
