Episode 17 : "The Condemned"

Summary

Ralph Bellamy has unwittingly leased his plant to aliens who are using it as a world wise communication center for their agents. He steals a list of names and is hunted down. Enter Vincent.

Review

There is a double feeling of paranoia in this episode, very well played up to when Vincent is falsely accused of Bellamy's murder and evidence and witnesses support the accusation. You can feel being trapped in that situation. The cops, who should be attacking the aliens are, in a sense, joining hands with the aliens in attacking Vincent. The only shortcoming to the film was in the preoccupation in obtaining the list of names. After all, if the names are known the list becomes superfluous; this apparent problem could have been easily solved by having Bellamy and/or the alien leader explain that Bellamy did not have time to read the names or the positions that they held on Earth. Nonetheless, having said that, it still remains a great episode.
